Paid Internships in Vista: Velocity Internship Program Students Begin Their Summer Work Experience
Students across Vista are gaining valuable career experience this summer through the Vista Chamber of Commerce's Velocity Internship Program, a paid high school internship program that connects local students with businesses, nonprofits, and public agencies throughout the community.
Designed to prepare students for future careers, the Velocity Internship Program gives high school students the opportunity to earn paid work experience while developing professional skills, exploring career interests, and building connections with local employers. These internships help students gain confidence in the workplace while providing Vista businesses with the opportunity to mentor the next generation of professionals.
This summer, interns are already making an impact across a variety of industries.

Preparing Students for Future Careers
The Velocity Internship Program is more than just a summer job—it's an opportunity for students to discover career pathways while developing workplace skills that will serve them long after graduation. Through these paid internships in Vista, participants gain real-world experience, strengthen their resumes, and learn directly from professionals in their fields of interest.
At the same time, local employers benefit by mentoring motivated young professionals and helping develop a stronger future workforce for the Vista community.
The Vista Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with businesses and organizations that invest in local students through this high school internship program. Together, we're creating meaningful opportunities that prepare young people for success while strengthening the local economy.
