Mission Statement
The Latino Business Outreach Committee (LBOC) is dedicated to supporting and elevating Latino business owners in the Vista community. Our goal is to provide resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy to ensure the success and growth of Latino-owned businesses.
What We Do

Business Development Support: Workshops, mentorship programs, and access to small business resources.

Networking & Collaboration: Events and mixers to connect Latino business owners with industry leaders and potential clients.

Advocacy & Representation: Engaging with local government and stakeholders to ensure the voices of Latino entrepreneurs are heard.

Community Engagement: Celebrating Latino culture and contributions through events and initiatives. The Second Annual Vista's Fiestas Patrias will take place on Sunday, September 14.
Vista's Fiestas Patrias
Each year, the Vista Chamber of Commerce proudly hosts Vista's Fiestas Patrias, a vibrant celebration of Hispanic heritage and Mexico’s Independence Day. This community event brings together families, businesses, and cultural organizations to honor Latino traditions through music, dance, food, and history. Event highlights include:

El Grito Ceremony – A special moment led by the Mexican Consulate of San Diego to commemorate Mexico’s fight for independence.

Live Entertainment – Mariachi, folklórico dancers, and Latin music performances.

Authentic Cuisine – A variety of delicious food vendors showcasing Latin American flavors.

Cultural Exhibits & Activities – Art displays, traditional crafts, and fun for the whole family.

Business & Community Booths – A chance for local businesses and organizations to connect with the community.
Fiestas Patrias is an important way for the Latino Business Outreach Committee to engage with the community, highlight Latino-owned businesses, and celebrate the contributions of the Hispanic community in Vista.
