State of the Community Luncheon
The State of the Community Luncheon brings together business professionals interested in learning about the state of the city from the Mayor, state of the chamber, and other relevant topics. Previous guest speakers include Vista Fire Chief Gerard Washington, NCTD CEO Shawn Donaghy, and Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps' President Mike Bronner.
When? This event takes place in late January/early February.
Vista Strawberry Festival
The Vista Strawberry Festival is a street festival that celebrates Vista's history of once being known at the "Strawberry Capital". This event features 450+ vendors, a 5K and Kids Runs, Film Festival, 4 stages with entertainment and live music, a Beer Garden featuring local breweries, and carnival rides that run the whole weekend.
When? The Vista Strawberry Festival takes place in May on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
Vista's Fiestas Patrias
Vista's Fiestas Patrias is a vibrant celebration of Hispanic heritage and Mexico’s Independence Day in Vista. This community event brings together families, businesses, and cultural organizations to honor Latino traditions through music, dance, food, and history. This event is led by the Vista Chamber's Latino Business Outreach Committee, learn more about them here.
When? Vista's Fiestas Patrias takes place on Sunday, September 14.
Heroes of Vista Gala
The Heroes of Vista Gala honors and recognizes businesses, educators, and community leaders who've demonstrated their passion for giving back to the community. The event is hosted in partnership with the Vista Education Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on supporting local students.
When? The Heroes of Vista Gala will be back in the Fall of 2026.
Vista Christmas Parade
The Vista Christmas Parade unites our community to celebrate the start of the holiday season with this special event. Businesses and community groups are invited to join! Floats are judged in three categories "Best Use of Theme", "Best Spirit", and "Best Overall", winners are announced at our January Business Mixer.
When? The Vista Christmas Parade takes place the first Saturday of December.
Meet the Leaders
Meet the Leaders is the event to meet up close and personal with our Elected Officials representing Vista at the local, county, state, and federal level. This sit down dinner features speeches by all elected officials. Learn about what they're doing for our community.
When? Meet the Leaders is scheduled around our electees' schedules, date can vary.
